Our favourite weekend Hen weekend Itinerary
One of the questions we're often asked is how we'd spend a hen weekend at Kings Beck Barn. While every group is different, here's out idea of the perfect Norfolk hen getaway...
Friday: Arrive, Unwind & Settle In After arriving at the barn, it's all about switching off and starting the celebrations. Leave the cooking behind and pick up a delicious takeaway from one of our local favourities, whether that's the Gate of India, Chubby Panda or Stamp Pizza. Pour a glass of Prosecco, gather around the table for board games & plenty of laughter, then finish the evening off with a soak in the hot tub!
Saturday: Coffee, Coast & Cocktails Start the day slowly with a trip to Bread Source in Aylsham for delicious coffee and pastries. From there, head up to the beautiful North Norfolk coast and spend the morning exploring Cromer. Whether you're strolling along the beach, wandering the promenade or stopping for a few photos, the sea air is the perfect way to reset and recharge. For lunch make your way to The Suffield Arms, one of our favourite spots for sharing plates, tapas & cocktails. Return to the barn, spend the afternoon relaxing together. Enjoy the hot tub, unwind in the garden with a glass of fizz, or simply make the most of having all your favourite people together in one place. As evening arrives, elevate your hen weekend with a private dining experience at the barn. Sit back and enjoy restaurant quality food with your own Chef. We highly recommend Chef2Dine4 or Private Chef Experience.
Sunday: Slow mornings & Norfolk charm Sundays at Kings Beck Barn are best enjoyed at a slower pace. Take your time over breakfast, savour one last coffee & enjoy the peaceful surroundings before checking out. If you're not quite ready to head home, we always recommend a wander around the stunning Blickling Estate. With beautiful gardens, parkland and plenty of countryside views, it's the perfect way to round off the weekend. Finish with a leisurely lunch at The Bucks Arms before everyone heads home.
